The Discovery ticked all the boxes: seemingly I have a 2016 diesel manual Disco Sport, bought as an ex-demo with about 800 miles on the clock with an extended warranty. The timing chain went (a week after a service, but as the timing chain is in a sealed unit - supposed to last the lifetime of the vehicle - it didn't detect any issues) in September 2019, and LR changed the engine FOC but wouldn't supply a courtesy car, and it took months. I am thinking of replacing just the clips to see if that the issue. On other cars that I've had thats sorted out the problem. A pack of 415 assorted clips only costs $16.95 AUD so it is definitely cheaper than going to a dealer for a brand new trim piece. F.
